Language Arts:
If you haven't already, please read chapters 5,6 and 7 for tomorrow
Chapters 8 and 9 need to be read for Thursday :)
-"Shade" character posters are due for tomorrow (from last week)
They should include:
-colour
-title ("Shade")
- a drawing of Shade
-5-7 pieces of text evidence that tell you something about Shade's character
-what each piece of text evidence tells you about Shade's character
example:
Text evidence: Shade wants to see the sun
What that tells me: Shade is... rebellious, brave, unique
Spelling:
We began our new "spelling" routine today! It is really a bit more like vocab though!
Parents: A note went home with the kids today explaining the new routine!
Students: Please work on creating your flashcards - ideally they will be done for thursday. Use a computer or a dictionary when you need to so that you are SURE your words are matched correctly :) !
