Happy Long Weekend!!!
Here are some of the things for you to do this weekend (because you know you're getting bored of so much time away from school!!!!)
Language arts:
Please read chapters 10, 11, and 12 for Tuesday! (you may also want to start reading 13, 14, 15, 16 since those are for Thursday)
-Goth Poster will be due next thursday
Criteria:
-Title (Goth)
-5 phyiscal feature labels (check in your book for the paragraph that describes goth)
-5 branches coming off of your "My Impressions of Goth" bubble web somewhere on the page - these are your first impressions/ideas/thoughts about him as a character
-Coloured!!!!
-Nicely polished (pencil has been gone over/erased, coloring is neat, labels are spell checked etc.)
-If you have not yet handed in your Shade poster, it is now OVERDUE! Please have it for MONDAY
Grade 5 Math:
Finish your foldable and real life examples of lines homework (if you didn't in class)
Homework is:
1 real world example of each of the five types of lines
Please write down which type of line it is, draw your example (and write beside it what you drew), highlight and label your lines
Other points of interest:
-We are going to the symphony on Monday morning! :)
- A big thank-you to families that came out and visited with their child this morning during the open house. It was lovely to see so many of you interacting with the kids and having a look at all of their hard work :)
